Abstract

Globally, the function of the teacher has changed since the turn of the twenty-first century.
The teacher, who has become accustomed to serving as a leader, an instructor, and a source
of knowledge, must now modify his or her job to fit the demands of learning in the twenty-
first century. In order to make lessons engaging and dynamic for instructors in the twenty-
first century, this article will give an outline of prospective excellent teachers, effective
learning, learning abilities, and learning theories. Higher level thinking, meaningful inquiry-
based learning, cooperative cooperation, effective communication, creativity and innovation,
and digital literacy are characteristics of 21st-century learning. In order to prepare students
with superior cognitive skills to meet the demands of a real-world education, this paper
proposes that teachers should be trained in contemporary educational practices and learning
theories.
